I agree 100% with Mark, Michael, Jim and others who think that these chips are very bad for the hobby. I think that they are much worse than the fakes made by GGS since DW uses the original brass cores that were made for the casinos. I also think that supporting DW by buying his work is much more harmful to the hobby than slabbing. I do not see them as a "work of art."

We will continue to list fakes, reproductions and counterfeits in "The Chip Rack" in order to show collectors what they are. I also support these chips being shown on the club's fantasy & fakes site for these reasons. To say that they are beautiful works of art is contrary to my image of our wonderful hobby.

This is my opinion. I respect the right of each of you to have your own opinions. Sometime in the future, I expect that the club's BOD will issue their opinion and I hope that each of us will abide by their decision.
