I have the utmost respect for your opinion and I actually agree with you about free trade and capitalism. And, no I don't think it is the clubs place to tell dealers what they should sell for (it would amount to price fixing).

But I think you miss my point. Dealers can and do charge any amount they want for their products. But, in doing so, are they at least not violating the clubs' ethics of one member not taking advantage of another?

And lastly, if certain dealers weren't selling product at inflated prices, one would assume they would either drop the price or cease to offer the product. Not everyone shops for the best price. If these discussions do nothing more than to get more members to do comparitive shopping then they have served their purpose.
