Hi Don; First let me confess that I am a 'chip dealer' since my retirement ten years ago ... but mail order only; primarily through my A.C. new issues service ... and I am not offended by your post.

I've never taken a table at any of the Las Vegas shows or conventions, but I have sold "stuff" at my local club meetings in A.C. Many of the table holders that you've refereed to in your post, are NOT dealers in the true sense of the word; but are collectors who have amassed a significant inventory of material to sell, or are collectors who are disposing of portions of their collectors... and there is nothing wrong with that.

I see lots of folks with huge poitive feedbacks who sell considerable excess material on ebay instead of at chip shows. Some of these folks could be considered "dealers" as well. I often wonder how many sellers of chips claim their chip sales profits on their income taxes each year? Those are the true 'dealers' in my opinion.
