I agree with you. More shows than before. However, those shows are on a much smaller scale with only a fraction of what was provided at the Palms, i.e., facility, sponsors, dealers, material. So I'm not sure there is fair comparison. Not all the main dealers will do the smaller shows for fear of attendance and associated costs..

And I don't believe the timing of Doug's auction had much to do with attendance either way. People can bid by mail just as I did.

Again it concerns me that this show which was SO WELL DONE, had attendance so far behind last year's and the prior year. I’m afraid there may be more behind the scene that many are overlooking.
