If that happened, then W. Virginia would have 2 losses. Rutgers (for better or worse) would be too far down the polls to move up. I discussed only those programs that I thought had any chance to get close to the game. I confess that I do not believe that W. Virginia is in the same class as Michigan (although I do think the Big East has recovered well, and has some good games -especially on thursday night).
I would bet on Michigan against almost anybody on a nuetral field, but Ohio State already beat them fair and square, and there is an advantage to playing again for Michigan. If they play, I'll watch, but then again I'd watch if they played podunk state-if it is the Title game.
If this were a situation where the top two teams in a conference had not played each other all season (for example Purdue lucked out and missed both Michigan and Ohio State), then two teams from the same conference would be Ok.
I still predict it will be USC v Ohio St. (if SC loses then Florida, if they lose then yes it will be Michigan).
