OK, another chip variation question. Although I do enjoy looking for chip variations, I do not generally look for slight color variations. I am just curious about this chip.

As each chip is in excellent condition and each side of each chip is the same color, I do not think the color difference can be attributed to fading.

That being said, I find it impossible to think that a Mirage variation would go un-documented for so long. Soooo, any ideas on how these 2 chips would have different color?
