I'm trying to figure out how one could sue any hotel for not waking you up because it was raining hard enough to flood the parking lot. What if they did wake everyone up, and they all ran to their cars, and a few of them drowned trying to get to the cars and/or drive away?

Maybe I'm missing something here, but it seems to me that any damage suffered under these circumstances is the fault of the car owner for having the car parked where there was going to be a flood! ....or it's God's fault for raining on the parking lot! Or, it wasn't anyone's fault, it was just something that happened.
