On Oct 26 my wife stopped a Coushatta Casino on her way to Lafayette, La to use a comped room. When she woke up the next morning, the parking lot of the Coushatta Inn was flooding, about 100 people watching their cars with 1-3 feet of water rising in them.

My 2005 Infiniti G35 coupe was totaled.

I talked to the Casino risk manager today who said they had no responsibility. They would not even cover my deductible.

The water came up between 2-4 AM. They have 24 hour security, 24 hour buses moving people to the casino from the Inn. Surely they could see the impending flood. They made no announcements in the casino and did not try to wake patrons up by phone or any other means.

My attorney will send them a letter, but I don't know if you can sue an Indian Reservation, but I am asking all you Texas and Louisiana members to join my boycott of this casino.
