Kind of a quick overview of the terms

Score is to run a chip across a full rack to verify that a rack is full

Rack is usually a retangular moulded plastic object with 5 barrels in it to hold chips - usually 100 chips.

Barrel usually 20 chips the fill up one line of a rack - or referred to as a tall stack

Short Stack (and fanned) - When breaking down a barrel of chips for a camera the chips are usually broken down into short stacks and the last short stack are fanned out (layed out individually). In most cases short stacks are $1 chips 5 high; $2.50 chips 4 high; $5 chips 5 high; $25 chips 4 high; $100 chips 5 high; $500 chips 4 high (some casinos 5 high); $1000 chips 5 high.

Fanned - the best way to explain it, lets say someone brings up 18 $5 chips($90); it would be layed out in in 3 short stacks (5 high), the last short stack will be fanned out and brought back up and the last 3 chips would be layed (fanned) out idividually.

Break down - breaking down a stack of chips for the camera to verify

Purple - $500 chip
