New Years Night on Fremont street

We told you that the nation’s hottest New Years party was coming to Fremont Street and this weekend it was made official, yeah that would be another scoop! We just knew when we saw the ONE Global brain trust of Lia Rispoli and Marc Jay dining over details with Fremont Street honcho Jeff Victor that something was up and now it’s confirmed. The nationally televised New Year’s Eve celebration has upped the ante from years past with a star heavy line-up that includes super group Rockstar: Super Nova (which consists of Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee, Guns and Roses guitarist Gilby Clarke and Metallica bassist Jason Newsted), Smash Mouth, Five for Fighting, All-American Rejects and Chicago. The festivities will be carried live across the country via DirectTV as partygoers will enjoy two stages, one under each side of the four-block Fremont canopy. The entire Fremont Street Experience will be gated off providing ticket holders with an outdoor party better than those in other storied locations like Times Square for several simple reasons: outdoor bars, access to gambling, restaurants and vendors. “Having this level of talent in a nationally televised event is a real coup for Las Vegas and the Fremont Street Experience,” said Jeff Victor, president of the Fremont Street Experience. “The broadcast capabilities and the incredible visual backdrop of the 1,500-foot long Viva Vision screen surrounded by the neon lights of Vegas’ most storied casinos provide a New Year’s atmosphere unmatched anywhere.” Tickets are priced at $80
