Let us ALL know if you turn up anything Dave! Seems like we've speculated on this in the past and I'm sure you were there! I took a look in Leon Mandel's bio of Harrah, William Fisk Harrah but there was no mention of Fallon. There was quite a bit of flux in Harrah's early days in Reno. He picked some poor locations for his first tango/bingo operations among other gaffs and what with moving around and his penchant for first-class environs for his customers he did some scrambling for cash flow. Seems that the Fallon bingo theory I liked best was that he'd rent space at places around Reno and have a traveling once or twice weekly bingo night in Fallon or ?
