Today’s note is in keeping with current affairs. It is a 1992 issue 100 Won note from the country of North Korea. North Korea is very poor and looking for ways to come into wealth by developing nuclear weapons to market.
The face of the note has Kim II Sung (No relation to Greg Sue Sung) at right center. (See more about Kim II Sung below banknotes) The back has rural home at the center. The watermark is an Arched Gateway and the note has a security thread. The value of this note is $7.50 in UNC condition. ENJOY

KIM SUNG JU, Korean dictator (born: April 15, 1912, near Pyongyang, Korea –died: July 8, 1994, in Pyongyang). He ruled the Democratic Republic of Korea (North Korea) with an iron fist from the time it was established in 1948 until his sudden death from a heart attack. As premier (1948-72) and president (1972-94), the "Great Leader" promoted a successful cult of personality that imparted on him "godlike qualities."
His Kill tally: About three million killed in the Korean War. Between 600,000 and one million North Koreans needlessly starved to death due to the economic legacy of Kim's regime. (Some reports claim that as many as three million starved.)

Apr 13, 1992--- Kim Jong Il takes control of North Korea's armed forces, and becomes the country's de facto dictator
Jul 08, 1994--- Kim Il Sung dies. Kim Jong Il formally assumes power. Is now doing Nuclear testing for arms.
