Yes, their has been debate about where these are from. If you are asking is their anything NEW known about these chips, the answer is no.

However, no one has presented anything to that would lead me to belive anything contrary to my copy of The Chip Rack which dates them and attributes the to the Thunderbird. I can confirm that these chips are TCR# V5767.
