I'm not into it except that Oakland is a CA team and I'll support them. Watching the WS is ok but not the same w/o the Blue Crew. I can't wait to see what we do in the off-season.

Too bad about Cory Lidle, I remember Thurman Munson and Kenny Hubbs (Cubs 1962 NL Rookie of the Year). I've been a pilot and I know how difficult it is to transition to newer/bigger aircraft. In Munson's case he went from reciprocating engine to turbine and the "spool time" trap. IMO.
