Valuev KOs Barrett!

WBA world heavyweight champion Nikolai Valuev (45-0, 35 KOs) retained his title with an eleventh round TKO over Monte Barrett (31-5, 17 KOs) Saturday night at the Allstate Arena near Chicago. Valuev staggered Barrett in round one, but Barrett gave a good account of himself until round six when Valuev started to dominate. Valuev dropped Barrett in round eight and then floored him twice in the eleventh prompting Barrett's cornerman to enter the ring to save his fighter at the 2:12 mark.
