Then put the chips 2 layers deep up to the glass so that the newsprint doesnt show. When I worked in the grocery business I was in the produce dept and we used to "dummy Up" the apples that way so it looked there there was alot but when we had to add just one case to the stack we had to tear down the whole display to put the fresh ones on the bottom to minimize spoils and by putting paper or cardboard underneath we handled less produce and rotated stacks faster.

Long story short use paper or styrofoam peanuts in the machine, should work
