Bottle Service goes Bling

We’ve long asked the question, what’s next in bottle service? While operators try to find the answer to progress the vodka bottle, one company may have found the answer while going in a different direction, water! The high-priced Bling H2O comes complete in a 750 ml frosted glass bottle, cork stopper, and, get this, hand applied, genuine Swarovski crystals. Around the globe, celebs and sport stars alike are passing on booze and instead choosing high-priced bottled water that often costs more than $100 per bottle (retail). "I created Bling H2O because I felt there was a need for a bottled water that exemplified popular culture," explains Kevin G. Boyd, a Hollywood producer and writer. "Bling H2O is to bottled water what Rolls Royce is to automobiles; a premium product with premium packaging that merits a premium price. Bling is a stand-alone beverage as well as the perfect compliment to your favorite cocktail." We know what you’re thinking but seriously, Bling H20 is catching on across the globe. For example, in Paris, France it’s served to high-end clientele at the Louis Vuitton flagship store. Stateside, celebrities like Oscar award winner Jamie Foxx, hotel heiress Paris Hilton, N.B.A. world champion Shaquille O’Neal and rocker extraordinaire Bono, are just a few who have caught onto the hype. "A lot of times when you have some water, people are like, 'You're drinking water?',” Foxx told Entertainment Tonight. “Instead, you say, 'Naw man, I'm Blinging!” Since the product is brand new to Las Vegas, it hasn’t appeared in any Strip-side nightclubs… yet. With a retail price point that could hover around the $125-$150 mark for a 750 ml of water, you know it’s only a matter of time! As Boyd and his partners, Luins Williams and Maureen McQuiston, are asking, “Do you Bling?”
