I have a friend who is retired also and I often go down and have a beer with him some afternoons. He would not accept me paying him back for the beers I drink (we ususlly sit in his back yard). He has a well manicured 5 acre lot with a garden that looks like it was in a magizine. His name is Robicheaux. So with my wife driving the get-away car, coco as look-out, and Ryanne as accomplice we took 50 cans of Miller Light and spaced them down the rows of his garden where the shiny cans shown like diamonds against the black soil. We stuck a cryptic sign that read " Bodreaux & Robicheaux Expearmintal Beer Gardens"

He got a huge kick out of it and wouldn't Harvest them until all the neighbors had seen them. Weeks later I threw a case of empty cans in the garden with holes in the cans and posted a sign "Warning: Beer Garden Crop Failure" again everyone got a huge kick out of it.
