I'll give it a shot. I haven't stayed in them all.
1) Harrah's if you get the right room. and that's not one in the old Holiday Inn tower. Comps aren't great, but you are close to everything.
2) Golden Nugget, I hear the rooms are nice and I like Downtown.
3) Tusacany, Big rooms
4)Terribles- Can walk to Hard Rock and not pay Hard Rock rates
5) Gold Coast- Can walk to Palms and Rio
6) Orleans- Good buffet, Shuttle to strip
7) Riveria for the old Vegas feel
8) Bellagio
9) Bally's
10) Red Rock
