The Sands room reservations department informs me that the casino will close at 6am on November 11th and the hotel will close (also on November 11th) immediately following the last guest check-out.

I also found out through the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office website that the Sands name and logo trademark is currently registered to Las Vegas Sands, Inc. so it is very unlikely you will ever see the Sands name again in Atlantic City. Get those chips while you can.
