Ebay Paypal recent attacks of spoofs

I don't know if I made some list or if this is happening to many people, but I've been receiving 2 or 3 messages a day for the last week, that look like they come from eBay or Paypal.

The eBay message show that you sold someone and item or are asking about payment information about something that you didn't list. The link is of course not to eBay, but to a site overseas.

No matter what you click, email, respond or look at the item, it has a page that mimics eBay login. Which of course IS NOT.

Then you login and the criminals now have your ID and password on file.

Second one comes from Paypal saying you account was suspended or that there was a payment made for $4xx dollars, or asks that you give information so they can restore your account.

All of the above, look very much like real PayPal messages, but also come from offshore attacks.

Same deal, no matter what you click, it takes you to a phoney login site and the creeps have your information. No even respond, or look.

eBay, forward to spoof@ebay.com

PayPal, foward to spoof@paypal.com

If you know how to turn on view Full Headers, it shows you where it really came from and if forwarded to eBay or Paypal, they can trace it easier.

I know everyone here is careful, but this recent attack is particularly good in their logos and copies of style. They don't have the usual English verb errors, plurals, or obvious mistakes that most do, which is an easy tip off.

Just a warning that a huge fraud attack is going on at this time.
