I have no problem at all defending my views.
In all honesty, if someone posted that about me, I would fall to the floor, laughing my a$$ off, and shaking my head in wonder. Probably post something back along the lines of "what? That all you got to bring to the sandbox????" *LOL*
Mind you, I have been around bulletin boards of various types since...Hmmmm...I would take a shot at about the late 80's or early 90's, when all we had was listserves that were pretty much a no-man's land.
It would take a HECK of a lot more than that to even light a fire under Mrs. Danielson's boy. I am reasonably certain that there is not much that could ruffle my feathers if said by some anonymous person on an internet bulletin board.
In fact, it would take ALOT more than that if said to my face in person. Stuff like that just makes me laugh. It reminds me of my little brother when we were growing up...I had quite a reach on him...used to hold his head off in a straight-arm, while he stood there flailing his arms in my general direction, trying to land a killer punch, but doing little more than fanning me on a hot day.
Again, sure it was out of place, and a very stupid post. I'm not taking up for him in that regard, make no mistake.
I just don't think it's banning material, is all. Like I said, there has been much worse said, and shown, that has not resulted in a ban.
People tend to be a little thin-skinned while online, in my humble opinion.
