My first scanner using Ofoto software was great for getting colors right. It was a Canon IX-4015, got it on sale at Computer City in 1992 for $750! Using it with my desktop 486-25 PC w/Windows 3.1 was easy. I still have that scanner, but can't get the conversion tools necessary to us it on my laptop. Scuzzy 1 interfaces aren't available for USB ports. ...at least none that I can find. The Paris jeton below was scanned on the IX-4015, without doing any editing other than converting the file to a jpg.
