I have no clue how much Dave is charging to make these chips.
As I detailed before, I bought 6 of these chips which he told me had been done for customers who then didnt want them. I presume he was utilising cores he had been given as 'payment'. I gave him $200 for the 6 chips. One of these was a relatively good core which stood him in $60. That was the one I sold on and I sold it for the same $60.
It was at the same time that I asked Dave to do the work on clay chips for my 'research'. He told me not to pay him until he had done it. When he had finished he would not take any money. He said it was his contribution to the research. He also provided two clay chips he worked on and a further brass core that was only completed on one side free of charge.
For all I know, he may be charging $100 to make these chips. Thats between him and his customers.
