Here's a picture of some of the Plastic Molded Slug Core chips that have been showing up recently. I see quite a few lots for sale from a guy in England.

The top row chips, Nevada Club, weigh 15 grams and are similar to the Harrahs chips from the 70's.

The bottom two rows weigh 16 g. each because they have a larger slug. These are similar to the Hyatt Lake Tahoe chips that I believe are still in use.

There may be more denominations in some of the types but this is all the dealer at the Arizona Charlies show had. There were $1, $10, $25 chips marked Tangiers Casino but I have no extras.

I picked up 3 sets of each. I like to have one of each type of chip in my MISC collection but the other sets are for sale. My favorites are the Nevada Club chips, and I'd choose those if I were ordering a set for home play. I don't know who makes these... probably someone in China.

It was rumored that the Las Vegas Centennial chips were stopped in customs and will no longer be imported. I know nothing else about the subject.
