found out this weekend that Southpoint will be without the "e" at the end, which is what is used at the shopping center nextdoor to the casino.
The October date is tied to an expected Gaming Commission approval, not of the chips, but of the new ownership.
It would be my supposition that there might be little fanfare in the change over and late one night all the tables get a complete new fill (Southpoint chips) and the next day a redemption notice goes up for South Coast chips.
Gene, do you know if the new release includes a Southpoint GO?
