So then we simply accept the club's librarian view on slabbing and ditch all the conversation discussed thru the years regarding the education part... and simply direct any one who asks about slabbing to a private link on slabbing and not a club reasoning as to why slabbing is banned at our convention?

I'll tell you what, Archie... if you can convince the BOD that club members and non-club members do not need to be educated regarding the slabbing issue via the CCGTCC... I will say no more.
