John; I have not read all the back issues of the club magazine or researched the matter ... but perhaps when the issue of not permitting slabs on the convention floor was adopted by the elected BOD, there may have been an accompanying position statement given back then ... prior to the current BOD?

Perhaps that will be what is eventually published on the club website?
