John; Let me ask you this question: How many years has it been when the last request posted by someone who wanted an official slabbing position statement information published on the club's website ... and by whom?

Most everyone not living in some dark cave knows the answer to the slabbing question posed anyway. Slabs are not currently permitted on the convention floor! If the membership is seeking a more definitive answer than that ... maybe the BOD is currently being polled by the President for that official response ... which takes time.

In addition, it has NOT been "2 days" as John Kallman stated in his lead-off post. The initial post was made by John around 4:30 p.m. and Mike Skelton's response was made about 10:30 a.m. a day and a half later. I personally think that's a reasonable time interval.
