Until I left practice to go to grad school with a tiny baby and no money for recreation, I played duplicate 2, 3 times a week; had enough points for life master but lacked two (then red points). My then wife was not a bridge player so I stopped playing--had more babies; got divorced; started playing poker; collecting chips and I can no longer tell a finesse from a coup.
