The "announcer" was Robert Thompson III.

I had the pleasure of dealing during the Howard Lederer & Annie Duke Fantasy/Reality Poker Camp.
Robert Thompson was the "announcer" for that event too.

He kept referring to Clonie Gowan as Chloe. She was offended/upset but not enough to confront him in person. She asked another tournament staff member to tell him the correct pronounciation. Said staff member DID tell him the correct pronounciation, but he kept right on announcing her name as Chloe.

I thought it was hilarious, but maybe you had to be there.
