Any true coin collector knows how to grade.
Sure when paying Hundreds or Thousands of dollars for coins you want them graded.
But the grading service is more for knowing that the coin is real and not altered in any way.
Just because a coin is graded MS65 does not always mean it is. You the collector has to be able to determine grade.
Why do you think that higH value coins may get graded several times, until that desired grade is acquired.
The difference between a MS64 and MS65 is slight to the eye, but can be worth thousands more from your wallet. At times twice as much.
