No it is just because it is free that people will bet on anything. When there is nothing at stake it is not really practice for the real thing. If you get wiped out you can just get another 1000 to start. You can do that 3 times and then have to sit out, an hour I think, and then start again with 1000. It used to work thatway and people will just go all-in or buy pots becaus ethey realy do not care if they losee.
