"As I previously indicated, my Post to Norm had nothing to do with any of the questions you are or have asked me in your subsequent Posts."
I must have missed something. Your post was not to Norm, it was to Mike Christensen. Because you are both 'high end' collectors, and the question has already been asked of him, that was the only 'connection'.
There is no 'hidden agenda'. If you read my reply to Norm you would have seen I had an extensive involvement in the chip fixing investigation. My question was therefore 'generic' and could have been asked of anyone.
The same question was asked of many members here on this board maybe a year ago. Many people responded. Some, as usual, had differing views.
I asked you, because as a high end collector, it might affect you more than others. I will try again, and ask a little more.
If ANY PERSON who has had chips fixed, or knowingly possesses fixed chips in his collection, is asked whether this is the case, DO YOU think they should give an honest answer?
I am interested to hear your answer, but it makes no difference to me what it is.
For the record, as it is stated elsewhere, I have had one chip fixed, and I possess a further 8 which have been altered. I have sold one altered chip, with full disclosure, and several witnesses present However, my question does not relate to 'potential future selling', merely to 'ownership'. I may discuss the former at a later time.
