I thought that when the Supernova band would do a song with one of the contestants they were really "ho-hum," especially in comparison to the house band. Those cats are tight!

Also, I know who Jason Newsted and Tommy Lee are but who in the heck is Gilby Clarke? I know he played rhythm guitar for Guns N Roses for a while but not during their heyday. They must have been really struggling to find someone to play guitar! It would have been an upgrade to tap Dave Navarro to play and let Gilby host the show!
