While I can understand the inference you drew that was not my intent. There was a series of viscious threads in which members of the club and apparently non members were insulting each other and I felt it appropriate to advise the members of the rules adopted by the Board. Keep in mind that I cannot join in the thread for to take sides would compromise my position of neutrality in the event one or another person brings a matter to my attention. If the Club members feel strongly about the matter they should take appropriate action to change the rules. I originally opposed the proposition (and still do--but have to carry out the Board's instructions).

Further, Gene, if you or any other club member feels I have acted improperly in making the post bring that to the attention of the Board as well. I serve the members, not myself.
