I don't like their "Closing Thoughts" (at end of last article) at all. They strongly imply that the mistake compromised the "integrity" of the tournament. I disagree completely. Very bad choice of words.
Such a mistake doesn't bear on the integrity of the event any more than a wrong referee's call compromises the integrity of the NFL. A mistake is a mistake; it happens in every sporting event - with no effect on integrity.
