I've known them personally ever since we moved here to Oregon as Terry, Steve's wife, owned the cottage right next to us and I got to see their daughter, Bindi, ever since she was first born. Terry's sister and us have breakfast together every week. I just can't believe it is true--I feel so bad as the family as well as all the crew at their huge zoo in Australia are very close. Terry and the kids were in Tazmania where they own a home when the news came to them. Steve lost his mother a few years back in a bad car accident. His dad still works at the zoo, though. I know this is just going to break his dad in half now. He is not a young man anymore, especially now.
