I have two $1 no cash value chips from the Horseshoe in Reno for sale. The first is a green small crown chip with a hot stamp that says, "Reno's Horseshoe Club, Reno, Nevada" followed by an outlined $1.00 with the zeros underlined by a triangle and finally followed by "NON REDEEMABLE" and "MUST BE PLAYED." It islisted in Campiglia & Wells as a 3rd Issue chip. It is rarity R-8 with a value of 50/75/120. Although my chip has a tiny amount of dirt in the 4-5 O'Clock and 7 O'Clock areas, it is otherwise like new. In TCR, it is V2823 and has a value of I+ ($40-49) for an average condition chip. I would like $30 for it, but I will accept offers/bids/advice/whatever.
The second chips is a large key $1 no cash value chip with three yellow inserts. It has a white inlay which differs on both sides (see scans below). It says in part, "Playable Only For Fun." In Campiglia & Wells, it is listed as a 5th issue chip with a rarity of R-5 and a value of 15/22/30. In TCR, it is listed as N5195 with a value of E+ ($15-19) in average condition. I can't see any flaws in this chip, but it is black. I would like $10 for it, but, once again, I will accept offers/bids/advice/whatever.
S&h is $1.00 for either or both of these chips. Please contact me with any questions or for additional information.
