I read with interest, some of your comments on why slabbing may be the answer to protect buyers of high end chips from the chip repairers, Dave Whalen, etc.

I have a few questions, if you don't mind.

Have you ever seen a Whalen repaired chip up close? Or a repaired chip from one of the other repairers? I know of at least 2 others.

Do you think an authenticating (Slabbing Co) service could tell if a chip had been repaired?

Do you think an Xray would show the repairs?

I am not looking for combative thread. I am interested in your answers.
