Putting a “plastic flock”, some fancy ribbon, & official sounding company initials, on a “CASINO CHIP”. Does NOT mean it is “slabbed”. Slabbing is a word that has been used in US Minted Coins, Paper Currency, and other items made by our US Government.
Those items are protected by the “1973 United States, Hobby Protection Act”. Casino cheques are not manufactured by the US Government, & do NOT receive such protection. The US GPO, i.e, the US Government Printing Office, maintains the Articles of that law.
I guess I am not sure why the word “Slabbing”, is even used in this hobby. You can’t slab a casino chip. If you want to pay someone to put your chip into flock, good for you. YOU JUST WASTED YOUR MONEY. Your opinion is not humble. It is in fact BAD for our hobby, & doesn't do jack.
Oh, I forgot it cost us more money.
