She notes that this is NOT marked "Gaming Token". I had always assumed they were sold as souvenirs, but obviously the ones you showed were "used" somewhere. Janice shows it as made in 1983, although the small date is hard to read on your circulated token.

The other is not listed in the O'Neal token list so I'm guessing it is a real souvenir item.
