Terri and I run across a lot of interesting stuff from time to time, and we have learned a lot from all of you over the past few years. For that we thank you all.
Recently we came across some $25.00 Binion's Horseshoe Silver Tokens. They are One Troy Ounce of .999 Fine Silver. One of them is dated 1986. They are worn.
Even though I worked at Binion's Horseshoe from 1990 - 1993, I have never seen these tokens. Terri and I know nothing about them.
So, again we ask for your help.
Does anyone know some facts about these tokens?
When were they used?
Were they used in the $25.00 slot machines? Or, were they just issued as commerative tokens?
Any information is greatly appreciated.
We have included pictures of both styles, and both sides, in following posts.
Thanks again.
