opinion, Stu?? I've seen you express your opinions on numerous occassions without anyone stopping you. Slabbing has never been a very popular concept in this hobby, but right now people are at least expressing their opinions in a "more" civil manner. No one is stopping you or anyone (member or non-member) from owning slabbed chips, getting your chips slabbed or selling slabbed chips. The only restriction is that as a dealer, you can't sell or display slabbed chips on the convention floor. When you buy an entry into the convention, you are buying a temporary membership & have agreed to abide by the "rules". I would think that every organization, whether educational, non-profit or for-profit, has a set of rules or guidelines that restricts a member's "rights" to do whatever he or she wants...the is no different.
Who knows, many many years from now the "pro-slabbing" force may be stronger than the "anti-slabbing" force and may affect the club's BOD...but that is obviously not the case now. Steve Bedo
