there's still a hobby or demand for casino chip collectibles. With all the LE's produced by the many, many casinos I don't believe that a whole lot of them will be going up all that much. A perfect example is the Hard Rock...most of their chips used to fetch fair money, but many collectors have lost interest for one reason or another. There are certain Hard Rock chips that will probably always command top dollar for LE's. But as for the more common HR chips, I don't think the price will be moving much. Those chips that have some cross-over collectible potential may increase (Playboy comes to mind).

A good example, Dawn, is I have a $100 Opera House Halloween chip...a few years old and only 30 made, I believe -- probably couldn't get $130 for it. But a Hard Rock 2000 $25 Cinco (100 made)goes for $1500 or so. No telling...I'm wondering if / when the Hooters chips will run out of steam?? Steve B
