Here are a couple more.
I doubt there is a reputable slabbing co that would even except chips for slabbing at this time.

The Slabbers at the convention tolds us they were not interested in doing a few 1,000 chips. They needed us to accept slabbing in the hobby to make it worth while. They intended to slab every chip if we allowed it.

One gave us a number that it would take them to tool up for chips. I'm wanting to say it was $250,000 but not sure.

At this point the only ones that will slab chips is those guys in TN that are slabbing, grading and selling their own chips.

I do not see slabbing as a threat today but it is good to have a thread every once in awhile.
