This is apparently a complex and tricky subject, Michael. Some places were open less than a year and ownership is all mixed up.

Ralph Pollack in his 1998 book on The Dutch Caribbean listed these casinos having been at the Aruba Sheraton location:

Aruba Sheraton
Grand Casino
Hart Casino
Aruba Palm Beach
Palm Casino

This information does not carry over to his 2000 book where I can't find Aruba Palm Beach in any of the chronologies.

You might want to contact him directly as he is pretty persistent and probably has info he has collected in the 6 years since the last publication. I haven't corresponded with him in a couple of years, but last email I had was from rpollack@ma.ultranet.com

I believe he is a bidder on one of the Americana chips I have on eBay this week so if he wins, I'll at least have a current address.

BTW, since you expressed an interest in these chips, his 2000 book values both the Americana chips at **, or $20-40 (above the current bid in the auction).
