That was a good representive of what actually happened.
I am copying below part of a post I made to Mark, Sahara Coins on the Club BB.
"Mark the simple truth is, you were for slabbing and we were not. Your table was full of Slabbed and graded chips. I doubt you or any of the others trying to bring Slabs to the hobby expected a well organized and well financed action against you.
We did good. We did it with class.
(Yes, at times tempers flared on the BB's.)
No one treated your father in law badly at the convention.
No one threw a rock through your window.
Many of US sat through the Slab seminar and did not cause any trouble. We asked questions and listened to the Slabbers answers. I was proud of Jim Reilly in the seminars. He did good. I was proud of some of our more radical members (including myself ) for not causing a disturbance.
The Slab thing did not sell with our club members.
Forget about it or you are welcome to try again.
IMO the slab part of this thread should not have happened. I wish you could have posted your Stupak chip for people to see and it ended there. Hopefully next time it will be that way.
Just to go back for a little more history.
Here is a post Mark made after the convention of 2001.
"You Win! Put me on the list!"
When I came into the store the other day and found a rock thrown through one of my windows with a slabbed chip attached I decided it was time to quit. I have just completed cracking out all of the chips that I have submitted to ICG. I am no longer standing behind this project and would like all reference to Sahara Coins and Summerlin Rare Coin Center removed from the slab free site as sellers of this type of material. It is not worth the safety of my family or employees to continue to support slabbing. Please add my name to the list. I make the pledge.
Humbly
Mark Scott

Slabfree declined his offer to sign up for the Slabfree list.
They also declined to take him off the "Do Not Buy From" list.
I have been in Marks store but I don't know him personaly. He is a business man and IMO, thought he could make $$$$ from bringing Slabbing to the hobby. (AND) (There is nothing wrong that."
It just not fly with chip collectors.
