Jim,
According to Ralph Pollack in his book, "Casinos of Aruba ~ Bonaire ~ Curacao ~ St. Maarten ~ Suriname, The Dutch Caribbean", The Aruba Caribbean casino did not become the Aruba Americana.
"In 1990, the casino (Americana) again changed chips from Bud Jones' Metal inlay to Bud Jones' Plastic inlay chips. These chip's logo of an island design with a red pair dice in the center, and the words AMERICANA ARUBA. This same center logo (with a different casino name) was also used concomitantly at the Aruba Caribbean Hotel's Casino." p. 25.
I suspect that the two casinos had the same ownership at this time.
