As I mentioned in my earlier post, I'll be making the first gift offer in the Chip Board Gift That Keeps on Giving Gift Chain tonight.

I've been thinking about how each giver will be selecting the best offer in each transaction and how this theoretically will mean that the value of the gifts offered will continue to grow with each transaction.

Eventually, the value of the gift offered in the gift chain will be so great that it won't receive many offers of equal or greater value.

When this happens, the giver will be able to accept a pledge of a specific amount to be dontated to the Building Fund. This will end the chain of gifts and all of the activity will have resulted in generating some money for a good cause.
